'At first I was just cutting and pasting people who inspire me on the canvas but then I came up with a theme of gluing normal things in wacky ways. So I put cartoon faces on the people and made a face out of different faces. I wanted to mix all the things I was feeling/ thinking into something and i guess that’s what it is.' ~ Avery Abell
